- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1 can sliced mushroom
- 1/2 cup roasted almonds
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper

- Brown onions in margarine while cooking rice, cook only about half way through rice.
- Mix together with remaining ingredients in a shallow baking dish.
- Bake for 20 min. at 375 degrees.
